Our masks are made to be reused again and again, which also means they are designed so that the ear elastics can be easily replaced.
We periodically hold open periods during which we ship out free replacement elastics. Although we are not offering this at this time, we still encourage you to make the simple swap to change out worn elastics and keep your masks going for as long as possible - repair, don't replace!
How: if an elastic has become worn or over-stretched, it can be replaced with another piece of elastic, or even a strip of old t-shirt fabric! To thread the new elastic through the casing use a toothpick, skewer, chopstick, or a loop turner (a very affordable tool used by most sewers found most places fabric is sold), tie a knot at the adjusted loop length, and hide the knot back in the casing.
